SOAPnet wound up its annual smoothie tour with Maui Wowi smoothies served at New York agency Mindshare. Melissa Archer, who plays Natalie Buchanan on One Life to Live, greeted the media team who took a cool break with pina coladas, frozen cappuccinos and strawberry/raspberry smoothies.

Doctor's in the House for SOAPnet Smoothie Tour

The SOAPnet Smoothie Tour made its hottest stop of the month today at ad agency MEC. The temp on the street hit 99. The humidity must have been, like, 160%. But inside it was all cool and refreshing. One Life To Live star Terrell Tilford (who plays Dr. Greg Evans) greeted the 100+ MEC media buyers with leis while Maui Wowi banged out the smoothies - strawberry, pina colada, frozen cappuccino with banana....yeah, it was really good. SOAPnet promotes its Upfront buying season by bringing Maui Wowi smoothies in to NYC ad agencies like Universal McCann. Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer) from One Live to Live joined the event to greet UM's media team.

Maui Wowi at a Bat Mitzvah

Maui Wowi brought smoothies and espresso drinks to a beautifully-done bat mitzvah yesterday. The theme was not Hawaiian but the event planner wanted our tiki bar anyway, just for the look of it. So even if your party is now island-themed, guests love our tiki bar. And we can modify it to use just the bar and not the thatch roof. The balloon arrangements were done by our friends at Life O'The Party.

Internet Conference Gets Jump Start with Maui Wowi Smoothies

Federated Media kicked off its annual CM Summit at the Millennium Hotel this morning (very early) with Yahoo! sponsoring Maui Wowi smoothies for the 500+ attendees. We served black raspberry (to match Yahoo!'s purple logo) and mango orange because....we like mango orange! We do a lot of corporate conferences and breakfast smoothies are very popular.

Amherst College Spring Concert

Amherst College -- next to bucolic in the dictionary there's a picture of this campus! After a rainout last weekend, their Spring event was rescheduled to a gorgeous Sunday with temps hitting 91. Maui Wowi left with not a single ice cube, cup or smoothie. Lemon Wave (our frozen lemonade) and Passion Papaya were the big flavors of the day.

It was Maui Wowi's first time to Maine for the University of New England's Spring Festival/Concert. Smoothies, great food, and the highlight was the Yin Yang Twins.

Maui Wowi at NYIT Spirit Week Event

Maui Wowi provided smoothies for Spirit Week celebrations at the New York Institute of Technology this week...on something of a record day. We had six college events going on simultaneous, at Hunter College, Nassau Community College, Erie Community College, Farmingdale State, Mercer Community College and NYIT. For the week, we had over 20 college events, and for the month of April well over 40...and May looks even bigger! So it's been all hands on deck (or on blenders)...even the Big Kahuna himself.

Maui Wowi had a record 42 college events this April, including a return visit to Southern Connecticut State University. We left our warehouse with 1200 cups and came back with 8.
