ABC Television Hosts Town Hall in Bronx

ABC Television held a town hall meeting this evening at the Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx. Several hundred residents attended and had the opportunity to give ABC's executives and newscasters their views on television coverage of news in the community. Democracy in action! NACA Attendees Suck Down Thousands of Smoothies

Just returned from Boston, where Maui Wowi attended the 50th annual NACA conference. It was a great time, we knew it would be. Thousands of smoothies were consumed by our great college event clients (and soon-to-be clients). We were at the booth next to a celebrity rep company and some of you Project Runway fans will recognize Jay McCarroll above, enjoying a tasty beverage. We're looking forward to seeing all our college fans, old and new, in the coming weeks as Spring events start.

Coffee Service at ABC Eyewitness News Event

ABC Eyewitness News in New York held a community meeting on veterans affairs at the American Airpower Museum in Farmindgale, NY. Maui Wowi was on hand to provide coffee and smoothie service to the several hundred people who attended. If you live on or near Long Island, the museum is a must-see for its World War II aircraft (all of which are operational and flown regularly) and memorabilia.

Pomfret School Relay for Life Event

The Pomfret School had Maui Wowi back for the third time in the past year to serve Kona Espressos, Lattes, Mochas, Cappuccinos and Ghiradelli Hot Kokos to the students to keep them wired during their Relay For Life Event. Maui Wowi's grandmaster of foamed milk fun, Chuck Courtemanche, was on hand to keep the action steaming.
