First it was snowing, then it was sleeting, then hail, then rain. Another day in the life of Maui Wowi campus events! Today we were at CUNY's Baruch College for Welcome Week, and the hot coffee and cocoa made the bad weather not so bad at all.

Maui Wowi Cocoas Kick Off Stony Brook Chill Fest

The Spring semester is under way at Stony Brook University and Maui Wowi was there to make 300 hot cocoas in one hour -- without breaking a sweat!

St. Joseph's College Powers Into New Semester with Maui Wowi

St. Joseph's University in Patchogue, NY, got the Spring semester started off right with Maui Wowi coffees, lattes, smoothies and hot cocoas. And believe it or not, we didn't eat a single one of the Dunkin' Donuts, although we had a Bavarian Cream in our mind.

Manhattan School of Music's Marshmallow Madness" with Maui Wowi Cocoas

Manhattan School of Music took a study break with Maui Wowi's hot cocoas and frozen cappuccinos. The event was dubbed "Marshmallow Madness," and included a make-your-own marshmallow animal, and for those who stuck around, a free for all marshmallow fight. Who knew musicians could be so rowdy!

SUNY Maritime College Takes Pre-Finals Break with Maui Wowi

SUNY Maritime College took a break from finals preparation to enjoy hot cocoas and espresso drinks with Maui Wowi today. Perfect day for it...about 30 degrees and, with the wind whipping off the Long Island Sound, if felt like 15.

UConn Enjoys a Maui Wowi Espresso/Cocoa Break

We visited University of Connecticut-Storrs yesterday to spread some holiday cheer at their Student Union - not that they needed cheering up! We made Maui Wowi fresh-ground espressos, lattes, mochas and Ghirardelli hot cocoas. Well, actually volunteers from the Student Government made the hot cocoas. We encouraged them to hit the road with us, but they elected to finish school (a good decision)!

Back at Pomfret School for Hot Cocoa & Hockey

It was great for Maui Wowi to be back at Pomfret School for Men's and Women's Hockey. lattes and cappuccinos (especially peppermint mochas) were popular but hot chocolates stole the show. "Can we have 8 hot chocolates, please?" was a typical request!

Amherst College Homecoming Rally Features Maui Wowi Espressos & Cocoas

Maui Wowi provided much-needed warmth for Amherst College's Homecoming rally the night before the Amherst-Williams game. We didn't know then that Amherst would bow to Williams, so everyone was in great spirits and enjoying our lattes and hot cocoas. (Oh, the fire in the background isn't a dorm building -- it's a very controlled bonfire!)

NACA Mid Atlantic Conference

Just back from NACA Mid Atlantic in Lancaster , PA. We served 1,000 or so Maui Wowi smoothies and hot cocoas to students from colleges from New York to Virginia.

Pomfret School Relay for Life Event

The Pomfret School had Maui Wowi back for the third time in the past year to serve Kona Espressos, Lattes, Mochas, Cappuccinos and Ghiradelli Hot Kokos to the students to keep them wired during their Relay For Life Event. Maui Wowi's grandmaster of foamed milk fun, Chuck Courtemanche, was on hand to keep the action steaming.

Coffees & More at Mercer County Community College

Maui Wowi did our best to banish the winter-time blues at Mercer County Community College, with Hawaiian-style hot cocoas, espresso drinks and coffees from the Islands. We think it worked ;-)

Finals Time at Georgetown--But Hot Cocoa First!

St John's University Warms Up the Holidays

St. John's University held its annual winter carriage ride to ring in the holidays, complete with carriage rides, singing toy soldiers and Maui Wowi hot cocoas. We didn't mind that it was 60+ degrees in December!

Happy Birthday, Rutgers

Yesterday was Rutgers University's birthday, and if you can believe it, the university is 10 years older than the United States! Birthday cake, Maui Wowi "Scarlet" smoothies (strawberry and black raspberry mixed), espressos and hot cocoas were on the menu.

Espressos at Amherst College

The chilly New England air got warmer, if only for a day, when Maui Wowi visited Amherst College to make Hawaiian coffees, espressos, cappuccinos, lattes and hot cocoas!

Casino (and Cappuccino) Night at Salve Regina

This weekend was Salve Regina University's annual Casino Night and Maui Wowi was on hand to make cappuccinos and hot cocoas for the card sharks, er, we mean, scholars! A good time was had by all at this gorgeous Newport, R.I., school (and no real money was exchanged, Moms and Dads).
