Manhattan School of Music took a study break with Maui Wowi's hot cocoas and frozen cappuccinos. The event was dubbed "Marshmallow Madness," and included a make-your-own marshmallow animal, and for those who stuck around, a free for all marshmallow fight. Who knew musicians could be so rowdy!

SUNY Maritime College Takes Pre-Finals Break with Maui Wowi

SUNY Maritime College took a break from finals preparation to enjoy hot cocoas and espresso drinks with Maui Wowi today. Perfect day for it...about 30 degrees and, with the wind whipping off the Long Island Sound, if felt like 15.

UConn Enjoys a Maui Wowi Espresso/Cocoa Break

We visited University of Connecticut-Storrs yesterday to spread some holiday cheer at their Student Union - not that they needed cheering up! We made Maui Wowi fresh-ground espressos, lattes, mochas and Ghirardelli hot cocoas. Well, actually volunteers from the Student Government made the hot cocoas. We encouraged them to hit the road with us, but they elected to finish school (a good decision)!

Back at Pomfret School for Hot Cocoa & Hockey

It was great for Maui Wowi to be back at Pomfret School for Men's and Women's Hockey. lattes and cappuccinos (especially peppermint mochas) were popular but hot chocolates stole the show. "Can we have 8 hot chocolates, please?" was a typical request!

Maui Wowi provided much-needed warmth for Amherst College's Homecoming rally the night before the Amherst-Williams game. We didn't know then that Amherst would bow to Williams, so everyone was in great spirits and enjoying our lattes and hot cocoas. Music and Maui Wowi Espresso at Bronx Community College

Maui Wowi visits many CUNY colleges to make smoothies, espressos and hot cocoas for events. Today was our first visit to Bronx Community College as part of their Latino Heritage Month celebrations, and it was special. Accompanying us to create a great atmosphere for the students was a band that reminded us of Buena Vista Social Club, who we love. The music made the hours go by too fast and we barely noticed the 300+ espresso drinks we made. And the best part was the enthusiastic applause the young students gave these great old musicians.
