Maui Wowi for Your Home Party
A big part of the Maui Wowi catering story is home parties--whether tropical theme or not. Here's a shot from a party we did last night in Westchester. It was a gorgeous event with food from Plum Catering of Cos Cob, CT. We set up our tiki bar and served smoothies to the 100 or so teenagers there, who loved it. We also made our strawberry and pina colada smoothies for rum drinks for the adults. The event featured face painting, pirate actors, a treasure hunt, steel drum player, and inflatable rides. It was an all-out great summer party, and Maui Wowi added the right touch of extra fun.

Aiden Turner from "All My Children" Tries a Maui Wowi
"Sexy accent, killer smile---Aidan Devane is the object of many women's fantasies. Armed with an analytical mind and an unwavering sense of right and wrong, the only thing this private detective can't seem to find is true love." In real life, Aiden Turner came to join in the fun of the SOAPnet Smoothie Tour at ad agency OMD. Here he is with aspiring actress (making smoothies just until she's discovered) Jane York (daughter of your's truly). On a sad note, Chrishell Stause is no longer the most recent photo on the blog!

All My Children's "Amanda Dillon" Finds True Love...
.....in a Maui Wowi Pina Colada! Chrishell Stause, the actress who plays Amanda on the leading ABC soap All My Children, helped us promote SOAPnet to the media department of ad agency Mediavest. Chrishell was totally into the event, very friendly with the crowd of 100+ media buyers and really fun to hang around (and pretty easy on the eyes, may as well admit that!). Did the Pina Colada taste especially good because of the hot New York weather, or was it perhaps that I was drinking it out of Chrishell's cup? Stay tuned.....

Soap Star Chills with Maui Wowi and SOAPnet
For the fourth year, we're partnering with ABC Television's SOAPnet to help them promote the cable channel's upfront media buying season. We're visiting eight Manhattan ad agencies in the month of June, making our awesome smoothies. The SOAPnet folks are bringing in daytime TV talent which has been a blast. Here we are with One Life to Live's Forbes March and the media folks from McCann advertising.
